- Shobu-Kabuto. The beautifully-shaped shobu (iris), with its large, delicate flower petals is used in Japan as a metaphor to describe beautiful women. The kabuto (samurai helmet) represents the strength, loyalty, bravery and heroism of the samurai. Also, shobu leaves and roots are believed to get rid of evil, so are sometimes added to the hot water of a bath on 5 May, this is called "shobuyu" (sweet-flag baths)
- Hand painted on paper, surrounded by silk brocade, on a wooden rod with silk tie and hanging loop. The artists signature is present in the form of a red seal print
- Made in Japan
