Although this will fit a UK size 6-8,  this is actually a girl's shichi-go-san kimono. Girls traditionally wear these with very big tucks tacked into the shoulders and a big fold-over of fabric at the waist, which makes them much narrower and shorter, but without those tucks and folds they are a good size for an adult size 6-8. On a young girl it will be full length, on a woman it will be shorter. My adult daughter has several of this type of kimono and loves how bright and uplifting it feels to wear them and how easy they are to wear with a simple, wide belt or sash. Elasticated belts are perfect for a quick transformation from casual wear to instant elegance. (I have some wide belts available on the site, for easy wearing of kimonos).

May have white shitsuke (basting stitches) around some edges, on the outside of the garment. These are simply to keep it neat during storage and just get pulled out before use
If shown with a sash, the sash is not included; for display purposes only, to let you see it closed, however, all kimono require an obi or some sort of sash to hold them closed; these are always bought separately. Think of it like a skirt and blouse, you can't wear either on its own, you buy them separately and mix and match
