- A taiko musuba (square knot), 2 part Nagoya type obi. Known as a tsukuri obi, tsuke obi or easy obi.
- A burgundy, 2 part obi, with butterflies

- The sash is tied round the waist, then the rear section is just folded into shape and held in place a makura (obi bustle padding) obiage and obijime (always bought separately), like all nagoya, fukuro and maru style obi are.
- Obi should not be washed
