Kamishimo were worn by samurai and court men, the outfit consists of a hakama, and a sleeveless top with exaggerated shoulders (sometimes supported by bamboo strips and lined with paper) called a kataginu, which are worn over a formal kimono.
- This kamishimo is cotton with a blue and white Edo komon print on it and white hanabishi mon (crests). Hanabishi is diamond shaped flower.
- has some very noticeable discolouration along fold lines

- Vintage. Date unknown but is Showa period
