Something rather special, an exquisite ro silk kimono, with the most wonderful waterfall artwork. Textile art hand applied by Japanese artisans.  This kimono is a wearable work of art. It would also make a fabulous hanging display.
Ro is a beautiful, airy weave of silk, with a lightly banded appearance and beautifully soft. It is intended to make the textile cooler to wear in hot weather
Hitoe (unlined), to keep the wearer cooler
This kimono has been gently hand washed without the colour running. A gentle colour detergent was used, no rubbing, no soaking.

May have white shitsuke (basting stitches) around some edges, on the outside of the garment. These are simply to keep it neat during storage and just get pulled out before use

**If shown with a sash or accessories, they are not included; for display purposes only, to let you see it closed, however, all kimono require an obi or some sort of sash to hold them closed; these are always bought separately. Think of it like a skirt and blouse, you can't wear either on its own, you buy them separately and mix and match

Condition:
Excellent - it has a tiny, faint rust mark on the front (see poto), which is barely noticeable.
