Cranes Scarlet Shigoki
Shigoki are usually worn by brides, by some traditional performers and by 7 year old girls at the Shichigosan ceremony but nowadays women are wearing them as a pretty added touch to their everyday kimono ensembles. They also look lovely, used on their own, to tie a woman’s kimono closed.
Shigoki are very long, so wrap around the waist twice before being tied in a big, sofr bow.
